UAE TO HAVE NON-RESIDENT ENVOY TO NEPAL
H.E. Mr. Mohamed Sultan Abdalla Al Owais UAE Ambassador to India has presented his credentials on 3rd January, 2011 to the President of Nepal, Rt. Honourable Dr. Ram Baran Yadav, as non-resident ambassador extraordinary to Nepal. His Excellency conveyed the best wishes of UAE President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to the head of state of Nepal.
During his stay in Nepal the Ambassador also met the following dignitaries Rt. Honourable Mr. Parmananda Jha Vice President, Miss Sujata Koirala Deputy Prime Minister and minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Sharad Singha Bhandari, Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Mr. Rajendra Mahatu, Minister of Commerce and Supplies and Dr. Madan Kumar Bhatrai, Foreign Secretary, in his meeting, the Ambassador discussed issues of interest to improve the bilateral relations between the two countries.
