UAE Embassy Celebrates 42nd National Day

His Excellency Mohamed Sultan Abdalla Al Owais, Ambassador of the UAE to India, hosted a reception on December 02, 2013 to celebrate the country’s 42nd national day. The celebrations were twofold due to the recent win of Dubai as host for the 2020 World Expo, which coincided with this year’s National Day anniversary.
The event was graced by the presence of Mr. E. Ahamed, honorable Minister of State for External Affairs, Government of India, who was the chief guest for the occasion.
The evening reception was well attended by Ambassadors, Diplomats, Senior Government Officials, and members of the Indian business fraternity, and media officials, who gathered to honor the visionaries of the UAE and celebrate the spirit of the Union.
The embassy showcased the various shades and grandeur of the country with the cultural wall that depicted the rich cultural heritage of the United Arab Emirates in the visual art form. Apart from this, a video presentation on UAE, highlighting the glorious past and a promising future was played and appreciated by the guests.
