During a promotional event of Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi “KIZAD” on Wednesday, 25th May 2011 organised by Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai , UAE Ambassador H.E. Mohamed Sultan Abdalla Al Owais attended this event which was also attended by more than 200 dignitaries.

The event marked the launch of tenancy applications and a marketing campaign to promote the 417 sq km industrial zone, which is two thirds the size of Singapore.

The Ambassador delivered a speech in which he praised the level of organization of the ceremony, organized by Kizad in cooperation with Bombay Chamber of Commerce &Industry. Ambassador mentioned the growing economic and trade relations between UAE and India. Ambassador spoke about various opportunities UAE presents for Indian companies in the renewable energy, chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals and education sectors.
