The Road show was organised to highlight the tremendous potential that exists at Sharjah Airport Free Zone Authority. The interaction specially showcased the benefits that the industry could derive from SAIF Zone which has very economical packages for setting up businesses.
Addressing an interactive session ‘Business Opportunities in the Gulf and MENA Region: Role of SAIF Zone in Expanding Your Business’ Mr Saud Al Mazrouei, director of Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) and Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone), said that the SAIF Zone was offering a single window solution to all investors requirements.
He added that the SAIF-Zone, is a major industrial base for global business and has Ports on the Arabian Gulf’s West coast and East cost, with direct access to the Indian Ocean, an international airport connecting 230 cities and well-developed infrastructure to serve Gulf, regional and international markets.
“A company can be operated in our zone within 24 hours of submitting required documents,” said SAIF Zone Authority Commercial Director Mohammed Salem Al Mahmoud. He said they offer 100 per cent foreign ownership and repatriation of funds with no currency curbs, exemption from corporate and personal income taxes and tax exemption for all import and export.
The session included a one to one interaction between the officials from Sharjah Airport International Free Zone Authority and the participants. The programme was well attended by the members of various industries based in Delhi/NCR Region.
