During the discussions, the two sides praised the significant momentum witnessed in bilateral relations, after the visit of His Excellency Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, to the UAE in August last year, and the visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to India in February this year.

H.E. Indian Minister mentioned that he recently returned from a tremendously successful visit to the UAE, where he attended UAE-India Economic Forum in Dubai.
For his part, H.E. Sharaf said that major UAE companies keen to invest in India, also called Indian investors to invest in UAE especially in the areas of pharmaceuticals, space, advanced technology where India has a vast experience.

H.E. Ambassador Albanna raised Expo 2020 exhibition to be hosted by Dubai, and pointed out that the UAE has a strong strategic partnership with India, where the exhibition will grant for India access to a global platform to create new links.
