H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna, UAE Ambassador to India meets with H.E. Mr Jayant Sinha, Hon’ble, Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Government of India in New Delhi on Monday, 24th July 2017.
H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna was accompanied by Mr. Ahmad Alfalahi, Commercial Attaché. H.E. Mr. Jayant Sinha reiterated their commitments to further strengthen Bilateral cooperation that developed with the fast growing pace between the two countries. Both the parties expressed satisfaction in terms of recent past developments at various levels and discussed the entire spectrum of aviation sector with the mutual interest and reviewed upcoming high level exchanges.
H.E Dr. Ahmed Albanna had scrupulous discussion for the air routes between the two countries. He said, UAE willing to add few more flights and routes to connect regional airports in India that will lead to affordable prices with the required capacity and also needs to focus on an open sky policy that gives an immense potential towards enhancing India – UAE ties forward. They also had a discussion on Qatar submission to ICAO.
Both the parties agreed to set up the meeting between General Civil Aviation Authority of UAE and Civil Aviation Authority of India to propose the new agreement and policy for the Bilateral Air Service Agreements in October 2017.
H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna and H.E. Mr. Jayant Sinha discussed important issues for the long-term mutual cooperation and strategic relationship between the two countries.
