H.E. DR. AHMED AL BANNA, UAE AMBASSADOR TO INDIA MEETS MR. HARIDAS PANTHEERADI, DIRECTOR - GULF, MIDDLE EAST & NORTH AFRICA, CONFEDERATION OF INDIAN INDUSTRY
H.E. Dr. Ahmed Al Banna, UAE Ambassador to India held an introductory meeting with Mr. Haridas Pantheeradi, Director - Gulf, Middle East & North Africa, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on January 20, 2016.
The meeting was called to discuss the forthcoming high level visit of H.H. Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the accompanying UAE Ministerial and the Business Delegation.
CII Official welcomed the Ambassador and congratulated him on his new assignment. For his part, H.E. AlBanna appreciated the support of CII in the past and expressed his intent to work closely with them in the near future as well.
The two sides discussed the nature and composition of the Delegation accompanying His Highness. The Business Delegation is expected to comprise of heads of leading UAE Companies and prominent NRI entrepreneurs based in the UAE.
On behalf of CII, Mr. Haridas expressed his keenness to work on the forthcoming visit of His Highness. Both the sides agreed to work together to further nurture the growing UAE – India bilateral trade and investment relations.
The UAE Commercial Attaché and other senior Diplomats from the Embassy were also present during the meeting.
