AMBASSADOR DR. AHMED AL BANNA ATTENDED THE INAUGURATION AND OPENING OF THE NEW GENERAL CONSULATE OFFICE IN THIRUVANANTHAPURAM
19 October 2016. The UAE has officially unveiled a new and improved General consulate office in Trivandrapuram, aiming to facilitate wider range of services including visa application.
H.E. Shri Justice P. Sadasivam (Governor of Kerela), H.E. Shri Pinarayi Vijayan (Chief Minister of Kerala), H.E. Dr. Sashi Tharoor (Member of Parliament), H.E. Mohammed Meer Alraeesi (Undersecretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International co-operation, UAE), H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna (UAE Ambassador to India), H.E. Ahmed Aldhaheri (Assistant under Secretary - MOFAIC, UAE), H.E. Jamal Al Zaabi (Consulate General, Thiruvananthapuram) inaugurated the New Visa Centre by ribbon cutting ceremony. The attendance also included dignitaries, business leaders and Members of the diplomatic community.
The new General Consulate office aims to provide services and facilities for applications who are choosing UAE as a destination for travel, business, study, attestation and consular services.
H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna mentioned” This new advance visa centre will create ease for the applicants by speeding up the whole process and will open wider gates for both the economies for future endeavours”
He also added that this launch of General Consulate office centre will offer a convenient visa application submission experience to the customers with other wider range of services”.
