The meeting was co-chaired by the H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna, UAE Ambassador to India, and His Excellency Mr. Sanjay Verma, JS-Chief of Protocol, from Indian side and discussed about a range of Bilateral and Multilateral issues.
The meeting made a comprehensive review on all aspects of UAE-India relations under five broad clusters namely Political, Security and Boundary, Economic Cooperation and Infrastructure, Trade and Transit, Power and Water Resources, Culture and Education.
He also drew attention to the recent high-level bilateral events, including the Inter-governmental visits and the Summits lately and in the past. He also outlined the efforts made by the UAE and Indian Government for developing the relationship to great extend.
In order to ensure the expeditious implementation of all ongoing bilateral cooperation projects, H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna mentioned that he personally take initiatives to take the relation to next level.
During the meeting, he also provided H.E. Mr. Sanjay Verma with information about the opening of new Visa Centers in Hyderabad, Chennai and Chandigarh.
His Excellency added that “The blooming Bilateral Trade and Investment between both the countries will only grow significantly in the coming years and there should be a regular exchange of information between the governments on these subjects”. |
