Dr. Ahmed Al Banna conveyed his gratitude to Shri. Swashpawan Singh for the continuous support and cooperation being extended by the Government of India. He mentioned India and UAE enjoy time-tested, warm and friendly ties underpinned by close people to people contact and growing cooperation in different fields including Tourism, Real Estate, Education, Healthcare, Project Exports etc. UAE has now emerged as India’s closest partner. India remains committed to support the UAE in different avenues.
During the courses of discussion referring to the participation of both the countries in various events, Ambassador mentioned that India has a strong relationship with UAE which is assured by constant visit from both the sides. Latest visit of His Highness Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan for Republic Day 2017 to India. And in the past visit of His Highness Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modi, that created a historic moment to chart a new course in the UAE-India Partnership.
Shri Swahpawan Singh mentioned that the current visit has expected to add an impetus to our Bilateral Relations and elevate our ties to a higher level for the mutual benefit of the people of our two countries.

H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna and Shri. Swashpawan Singh held fruitful discussions covering various aspects of Bilateral Relations including Political, Trade and Economic, Cultural, Visa & Consular and People-to-People contact. They further identified different areas of future cooperation. They also exchanged views on a number of Regional and Multilateral issues of mutual concern and interest.
They planned future meetings like this that will further open a window to discuss ways to consolidate and cement all aspects of our mutually beneficial ties. |
