AMBASSADOR DR. AHMED AL BANNA MEETS
MS. MARIAM OTHMAN, CEO OF RASHID CENTRE FOR DISABLED ALONG WITH THE DELEGATION

Ms Mariam Othman along with her delegation had a meeting with Dr. Ahmed Albanna, UAE Ambassador to India and the Sun Foundation, Delhi.

Rashid Centre which provides high quality, integrated education services and therapies for children with special needs, together with Sun Foundation that was established to empower the underprivileged section of our society under the umbrella of UAE Embassy and FICCI is organizing a special cross cultural student charity event in Delhi in May 2017.

The upcoming event will provide a platform to interact with the counterparts of both the countries that will showcase the talents of the disabled children and enjoy a different culture through exciting Activities and Explorations. The event will also have an exhibition of unique items made by Rashid Centre and Sun Foundation students including, Mosaic art, Decorative items, Paintings, and Jewelry will also be on auction during the event. Being a not-for-profit organization, Rashid Centre is eager to raise awareness of the center globally including businesses so that they may help support the cause in the future.

Ms Mariam Othman, CEO of Rashid Centre for Disabled Explained that our aim is to provide Rashid Centre students with something much more than just the basic services and education. We are keen to give them quality experiences to develop their skills, talents and help improve their adaptation with others. UAE Embassy, Delhi has given us wonderful opportunity to Interact with our counterpart Sun Foundation in India and exchange talents and knowledge.

Dr Ahmed Albanna added that this exceptional event will enrich the disabled students of UAE & India Lives and open upon a world of travel and cross- Cultural Experiences. He also added that both the organizations are working towards the welfare of the community in UAE and India that strive towards making it a better place for children with special needs to live in.

He Further added UAE Embassy will always strive to continually improve all work processes with the aim of providing services that fulfill the unique needs of the students with special needs.
