AMBASSADOR DR. AHMED AL BANNA MET SHRI MRIDUL KUMAR, JOINT SECRETARY - GULF

H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna, UAE Ambassador to India and Shri Mridul Kumar, Joint Secretary – Gulf, met in New Delhi, the morning of Monday, April 24, 2017.
During the meeting the parties discussed of high – Level Bilateral Matters for the year. The two sides praised the significant steps taken by government towards strengthening the association between two countries.
Both sides reviewed and positively assessed implementation of decisions emerging from high-level exchanges. They also discussed about the upcoming visit of the Vice President of India to UAE from 6-9 May 2017 which will further impetus the ties between the two countries.
During the visit UAE leadership will further open the room for co-operation in the various sector and both countries will consider more co-operation between sectors for establishing a long-term relationship.
Both the sides also discussed about the important agreements that will be signed during the visit that will increase the potential for the current level of Indo-UAE trade and would be the prime catalysts to foster deeper ties between India and the UAE.
H.E. Dr Ahmed Albanna expressed confidence that the establishment in the various sectors will give a new impetus to the development of the economic relations between India and UAE.
