H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna, UAE Ambassador to India and Shri Mridul Kumar, Joint Secretary – Gulf, met in New Delhi, Thursday, Jan 24, 2018.
During the meeting the parties discussed of high – Level Bilateral Matters for the year. The two sides praised the constant significant steps taken by government towards strengthening the association between two countries.
Both sides discussed that Ties between the UAE and India are poised for further growth as Hon’rable Prime Minister Shri Narender Modi 2nd official visit to UAE in February 2018.
Both sides also reviewed and positively assessed implementation of decisions emerging from high-level exchanges. They also discussed in detail about the upcoming visit Shri Narender Modi, Honourable Prime minister of India to UAE in February 2018 for the world government summit, which will further impetus the ties between the two countries.
Furthermore, both sides also reviewed the list of agreements that will be signed during the visit that will increase the potential for the current level of Indo-UAE trade and would be the prime catalysts to foster deeper ties between India and the UAE. They also discussed about the logistics and detailing of the visit in length.
H.E. Dr. Ahmed Al Banna expressed that the constant high level visits, economic and political relations between the two countries and the cordial relationship between two countries will create a significant landmark in the growth and success for future Endeavours.
At the end the two sides agreed to hold such meetings and culminated on a positive note with agreeing to forge the bilateral relations in the identified areas.
