H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna, UAE Ambassador to India met with H.E. Shri Arun Jaitley, Hon’ble Minister of Finance, Govt of India, to hand over the official letter from H.E. Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, UAE with reference to the UAE- India BIT.
During the meeting H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna mentioned that the historical development had made the two countries to develop their relationship from mere trade cooperation into a strategic partnership, both the countries will substantially increase the bilateral trade and investments over the next years in accordance with the comprehensive strategic partnership Agreement signed between UAE & India and the level of the strategic mutual relations and partnership that both countries have reached.
Both the sides also discussed means of enhancing bilateral relations between two friendly countries particularly in investment and commercial fields.
