Ambassador Dr. Ahmed Albanna meets H.E. Hasmukh Adhia, Revenue Secretary Ministry of Finance, Government of India

H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna, UAE Ambassador to India had a courtesy meeting with H.E. Hasmukh Adhia, Revenue Secretary Ministry of Finance, Government of India. He extended his greetings and felicitations to Dr. Hasmukh Adhia for the implementations taken by the government in financial sector.
He mentioned that the relations between our two friendly countries has historically been close, characterized by extensive people-to-people contacts and deep mutual respect. I am confident that the ongoing cooperation across the full spectrum of political, economic and cultural activities between our two countries will continue to diversify and further strengthen for the mutual benefit of our two peoples.
Optimization and productivity have become the key priorities across the countries resulting in increased adoption of technologies.
He further discussed about the invitation extended by MOS (Finance) and Deputy Minister of Finance, UAE to invite him for the upcoming Financial Forum organised by MOF (UAE) and IMF on Feb 2018. Dr. Albanna checked his availability and possibility if he could deliver a speech on that particular day.
H.E. Dr. Albanna thanked Shri Dr. Adhia for their commitments and support to UAE govt. He said many progressive decisions are being taken by the two governments. He look forward to various opportunities for cooperation between India and UAE in the near future. He added that the present Government clear direction in decision making is creating an atmosphere for the growth of the economy at large.
Highlighting other achievements of the present Government in the Financial Sector, the Revenue Secretary Shri Hasmukh Adhia mentioned that there is increase in investment and revenue collections in the global economic situation among others. He also showed interest in participating in the upcoming Financial Forum in Feb 2018 and thanked H.E. Dr. Albanna for his visit.
