5 October 2016. Mr.Chandrajit Banerjee, Director-General of confederation of Indian Industry called his Excellency Dr. Ahmed Albanna, UAE Ambassador to India, Embassy of UAE, to discuss about the proposed UAE participation at MP GIS (Global Investor Summit),  Indore.  Amongst the other points which were discussed during the meeting was participation of UAE at global MSME Summit.

Mr. Banerjee informed H.E Dr. Ahmed Albanna, plan of CII Leadership visit to Abu Dhabi and Dubai this year. He requested support from the Ambassador.

Mr. Banerjee informed Excellency Dr. Ahmed Albanna about the Partnership Summit, a first of its kind exhibition  to be held during 27-29 January, 2017 in Visakhapatnam, India.  It’s an annual Flagship international event, which started in 1995, to mark the centenary of CII, has since become one of the most important International business events in the country. Mr. Banerjee requested H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna support in getting a delegation from UAE. His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Albanna, for his part, welcomed Mr. Banerjee and assured his support in making the event a success.

During the meeting, Excellency Dr. Ahmed Albanna also informed Mr. Banerjee about the progress in the relationship between India and UAE and how it will keep rising in coming the years because of the initiatives taken from both the countries. Mr. Banerjee also showed his keen interest to work with the Embassy of UAE closely on this initiative of the Embassy of UAE
