H.E. DR. AHMED ALBANNA, UAE AMBASSADOR TO INDIA MEETS WITH H.E. MAJOR GENERAL VETSOP NAMGYEL, BHUTAN AMBASSADOR TO INDIA

H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna, UAE Ambassador to India met with H.E. Major General Vetsop Namgyel, Bhutan Ambassador to India on Thursday, 14th September 2017.
H.E Dr. Ahmed Al Banna discussed with H.E. Major General Vetsop Namgyel to underline the need for enhancing the bilateral relations between the UAE & Bhutan. The two ambassadors expressed the interest of their respective Governments to cooperate closely in the bilateral and multilateral fields.
H.E Dr. Ahmed Albanna emphasized about the forthcoming visit of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Alnahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation, UAE in November 2017 to Bhutan. He highlighted, the UAE will be interested to sign important MOUs on Double Taxation, Protection on Investment and Air Service Agreements (ASA) for the mutual benefit. Also likely to add for exemption of the visa on Diplomatic & Special Passports and other related agreements.
Warmly addressing to the Ambassador, H.E. Maj. Gen. Vetsop Namgyel, Bhutan Ambassador, conveyed gratitude to welcome the forthcoming visit of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Alnahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation, UAE to Bhutan to robust the bilateral relations.
Both the Ambassadors further agreed to hold such meetings in future that strive to nourish the ties between the UAE & Bhutan.
