25 July 2016. UAE Ambassador Dr. Ahmed Al Banna had a Courtesy Meeting with Shri. Mridul Kumar, Joint Secretary-Gulf.

Dr Ahmed Al Banna conveyed the gratitude to Mr. Mridul Kumar for the continuous support and cooperation being extended by the government of India.

During the meeting UAE Ambassador Dr. Ahmed Albanna handed over a letter extended by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Supreme commandor of UAE Arm Forces addressed to H.E Shri Pranab Mukherjee, The Honorable President of India, to attend the world Future Summit to be held on 16th January, 2017 in Abu Dhabi.

During the Meeting H.E Dr Ahmed Al Banna and Shri. Mridul Kumar discussed over the Strategic Agreement and Shri. Mridul Kumar handed over the agreement on the comprehensive strategic Partnership between the Government of the Republic of India and the Government of the UAE .

H.E Dr. Ahmed Al Banna expressed that the economic and trade relations between the two countries have become the most visible indicator of a fruitful and important bilateral relationship. He also added the recognizing the world is undergoing significant economic, political , social and environmental change, based on which the UAE and India share a common goal to promote security, stability and prosperity for all.
