AMBASSADOR DR. AHMED AL BANNA MEETS
MR. SUNIL SINHA, RESIDENT DIRECTOR, MIDDLE EAST
AND NORTH AFRICA, TATA
29 November 2016. H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna, UAE Ambassador to India  had a courtesy meeting with Mr. Sunil Sinha, Resident Director, Middle East and North Africa, Tata. The discussions focused on undertaking a clear and realistic assessment of opportunities and growth between the UAE Government and the Tata group.

Mr. Sinha said that the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region is a critical market for the Tata Group, which began expanding its operations there nearly 25 years ago. Tata group have a substantial presence in the region. It is impossible to overstate the importance of the MENA region to the Tata group and its constituents.

Just because the positives of the region, Tata sons, the holding and promoter company of the Tata Group, established a representative office for the MENA region in Dubai. The objective of this office is to further enhance and strengthen the Tata engagement with all stakeholders in the region and to facilitate business growth for Tata companies, especially in the focus sectors that are crucial to development and strategic interests of the group.

They also held talks on the mechanisms of action to expand the horizons of cooperation between the UAE and Tata Group in various areas avenues, thus enhancing the neighborly relations and traditional friendship between the two countries and their peoples.

H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna welcomed the visit of Mr Sunil Sinha to India, describing the visit as a continuation of the mutual visits between the two in both countries and provides impetus for strengthening ties between the two sides.

H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna further added that this visit will further develop the areas of mutual co-operation and the investment opportunity between the two sides taking it to the next level.
