UBM India hosted the 25th edition of SATTE, South Asia's leading travel trade show from 31 January-2 February 2018 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Over the last 2 decades, SATTE has become the launch platform for many countries and tourism products from across the globe to do business in and with India. SATTE has enjoyed much acclaim in international business circles and has been closely working with Ministry of Tourism, UNWTO, & PATA among the many other allure associations. SATTE will provide a comprehensive platform to domestic and international buyers and professionals from across the travel, tourism and hospitality industry along with National and State Tourism Boards (NTOs and STOs) to congregate and conduct business, arrive at solution-driven innovations to counteract economic uncertainties, and promote inbound, outbound and domestic tourism in India. This most favoured industry platform is also well-supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Spread over 3 days, SATTE 2018 will be witness to several exciting partnerships and announcements that promise to augur in new trends in the industry.

H.E Dr Ahmed Albanna Graced the SATTE India conference for the sessions on visa Reforms and Growth in tourism as the” key note speaker during the event During his speech, he has highlighted “UAE is a popular destination worldwide as far as travel and tourism is concerned. Better infrastructure, easy visa regulations, and progress in nurturing cultural heritage were some of the prime areas to focus which has created better conditions to develop the travel and tourism sector overall.
He added our relations with India are strategic and a priority. India and the UAE enjoy strong bonds of friendship based on civilizational links, age-old maritime trade and vibrant people to people contacts. In modern times, the dynamism of the two countries has translated into a rapidly expanding and mutually beneficial partnership, with the two nations now enjoying an extensive framework of agreements and partnerships”
He also added to make visa process more easy and assessable for both the sides, we launched mobile application to serve both Emiratis and Indians during their travel in India and UAE. Indians can get information regarding visa and attestation from the App.
