During the meeting he discussed various topics including the achievements made by Government of UAE Year after year. He also said that in tandem with the expectations of the people, UAE play more proactive role in the development of the region by promoting the capacities in emerging opportunities for his own people. Mr. Khan informed that UAE Achievements and emerging opportunities has made Dr. Najma Heptulla (Governor of Manipur and the Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia University. Former Vice-President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and a five time member of the Rajya Sabha to personally visit UAE.
He informed the Ambassador about upcoming visit of Dr. Najma Heptulla to UAE on 19 October 2017 and requested series of appointment to discuss future collaboration & several strategic partnerships. Also to give impetus to the talent of the both the countries.
Ambassador Albanna welcomed the forthcoming visit of Dr. Najma Heptulla, Governor of Manipur and mentioned that this visit interaction will reflect the solid ground of collaboration between the two sides and will future support the India-UAE strategic partnership. He emphasized that the India-UAE relationship is a symbiotic one which embodies our shared values of freedom, democracy and federation.
Ambassador also underlined the fruitful economic relationship between India and the UAE that has greatly benefitted the two countries-providing jobs, creating resources and making both countries globally competitive. He said that India's booming economy creates strong demand for UAE Resources, helping to create jobs and prosperity. Indian companies operate in UAE are present in diverse sectors like IT and Telecommunications, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences, Education, Financial Service and Manufacturing. And any further collaboration will deepen the relationship.
He further added the UAE government aims to create a network of UAE professionals to mobilize & invest in India, Visa versa. This platform will enable for regular outreach efforts and brain storming sessions on various issues of interest to both the professionals and will also act as a forum to discuss issues/matters of concern to be taken up with UAE & Indian authorities from time to time.
While summing up, Ambassador said that since UAE and India are both federal in their polity and governance systems, they will always have a critical role to play in spurring growth and facilitating investments. This platform of cooperation between the governments with high level meetings thus provides us with fertile ground for fruitful and active cooperation between the two countries. He welcomed closer engagement and thanked him for the enthusiastic effort from there side.
