H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna, UAE Ambassador to India, Met H.E. M.J. Akbar, Minister of State for External Affairs, discussed the importance of the ongoing bilateral cooperation for ensuring a conducive and peaceful environment for the progress and development of the two countries, the two sides agreed to further enhance cooperation in the various fields.
In the meeting H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna and H.E. Mr. M.J. Akbar reiterated their commitment to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in diverse sectors and to deepen the traditionally close and friendly relationship between the two countries.
They also discussed the preparation of the forthcoming official visit of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation, UAE. This visit will provide a useful opportunity to further cement mutually beneficial bilateral ties between both the countries.
H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna mentioned that India enjoys close and multifaceted bilateral ties with the UAE, anchored on regular high-level visits and extensive people-to-people contacts. The recent High level visits have elevated the relationship to a comprehensive strategic partnership. And the upcoming visit of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed AL Nahyan will excellent bilateral engagement.
He also appreciated the support extended by Indian government & mentioned that the ongoing close cooperation on a range of various issues will remain a key pillar of the bilateral strategic partnership. The two sides expressed common resolve to bolster cooperation and exchanges between two countries and lauded the work of both the countries on Investments.
