The Mahindra Group was represented by their international strategy team led by Mr. Mohammed Turra, Vice President (Strategy Initiative), Ms. Madhura Sekhsaria, Dy. General Manager and Mr. Tarun Sharma, Manager (External Relations).
The discussion mainly focused around Mahindra group’s interest in the UAE in various sectors such as agribusiness, automotive, aerospace, defense, energy, information technology, leisure & hospitality, and real estate.
During the meeting, the senior level executives from Mahindra Group briefed H.E. UAE Ambassador on their current business operations in India and globally. The USD 20 billion, Mahindra Group is an Indian multinational conglomerate headquartered in Mumbai, with operations in over 100 countries around the globe. The group has significant presence in the UAE as well.
Later in the meeting, Mahindra team shared their future planned initiatives and investment plans for the UAE market in particular. Mahindra’s solar business vertical has formed their international headquarters in Dubai.
H.E. Dr. Al Banna appreciated the distinctive strengths and various achievements of Mahindra Group. He emphasized that there is exists vast potential for Mahindra Group to further expand business operations in the UAE.
