H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna, UAE Ambassador to India met Ms. Lily Gupta, Vice President, Sulabh International Social Service Organization on Wednesday, 12th July 2017.
In the meeting, H. E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna briefed by Ms. Lily Gupta about Sulabh International Social Service Organisation with their present projects. She mentioned, it is one of largest non-profit organization in India and helps people for social work on sanitation, drinking water, promotes women empowerment and the scavengers women of Bihar, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana & other states of India.
Addressing to Ambassador, Ms. Lily Gupta mentioned Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak is a founder of this organization and our team along with few volunteers associated with the present project to clean the “Assi Ghat” at Varanasi.
H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna, appreciated their efforts towards the welfare and development of the society through these initiatives. In addition, their efforts to provide amenities like Community Bio-toilet, liquid waste treatment will enhance the plans to clean Ganga river.
The Ambassador, assured to help them towards these welfare programmes and also shown keen interest to visit their organization in the upcoming time.
