Ambassador Dr. Ahmed Al Banna met Mr Robinder Sachdev, President Imagindia

New Delhi | March 12, 2018

In the afternoon of 12 March 2018, H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna met Mr. Robinder Sachdev,  President of the Imagindia Institute at Ambassadors Office, Embassy of United Arab Emirates India. Mr. Singh briefed the Ambassador about the organisation and work done by them in detail. He mentioned that The Imagindia Institute is a non partisan, independent think tank and research center with a mission to promote the image and imagination of India. Founded in 2004 by an engineer-entrepreneur in the United States, is a non typical think tabnk with a mission to promote the image and imagination of India. In pursuit of its mission, Imagindia Designes and Implements Pinoreeing Initiatives in Public and Economic Diplomacy and in leadership training, globally. The role of Imagindia in promoting international relations has been widely recognized by top political and corporate leaders and prestigious media, in india and worldwide, including US, Japan and South Korea, Imagindia clients include government, large corporations, industry organizations and universities.

He explained to the Ambassador that inspired by the “Year of Zayed”, the UAE–India futures and cultural forum (UIFCF) is a prestigious annual platform that assembles some of the most dynamic and influential minds from india and the UAE that together hold meaningful discussions about the future of our futures-about the future of our children and youth, and about the futures of our knowledge and innovation societies.

Ambassador H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna, mentioned that the UIFCF is an effective platform for governments, cultural thinkers and knowledge institutions, technology and innovation companies who are on the cutting edge to explore, experiment and invest in futures of UAE, India, regionally and globally.

The UIFCF will highlight the complementary nature of the two economies. Connected by age-old bonds and culture, they have always been an integral part of each other’s economy. Building on decades of rich cultural and historical bonds between India and the UAE, the combined partnership between India and the UAE has developed from its initial days of trade in timber, spices and ivory to one in which bilateral trade has grown in the past few years. 

Ambassador extended full support for the event and highlighted  that The UIFCF represents an exclusive opportunity to network with industry and government leaders as they lay out the cultural, economic and trade goals of both countries to explore new opportunities, and understand the frameworks and guidelines executed by both governments. The Forum  will also ensures opportunity to speak with select audience, meet relevant stakeholders and showcase leadership and expertise to the who’s who from the UAE and India in order to explore business opportunities.
