With the objective of making Madhya Pradesh a global Investment Hub, the government of Madhya Pradesh hosted “ Global Investors Summit (GIS 2016) on 22, 23 October 2016 in Indore , Madhya Pradesh, India. This biennial event that provided multiple business opportunities for private sector companies. The global Investor summit 2016 had a participation of 9 partner countries, over 3000 business delegates, VIPs including Ambassadors and high commissioners from different countries and International participants.

The event started with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony on the stage in presence of the dignitaries.

Union ministers Arun Jaitley, Ravishankar Prasad and Narendra Singh Tomar and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh are some of the dignitaries present at the GIS venue.

GIS 2016 Included several country specific and sector specific seminars by leaders and experts speakers, which gave insight on latest development and opportunities’ in Madhya Pradesh.

UAE being the partner country , H.E Abdullah Al Saleh, Undersecretary, Foreign Trade and Industry, UAE Ministry of Economy H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna ,Ambassador to the UAE to India along with the UAE delegation participated to enhance the ongoing relationships in trade and economic Cooperation.

H.E Dr. Ahmed Albanna said that” Madhya Pradesh has made a remarkable progress over the years and with seminars like this, it gives an opportunity to let know the states government’s efforts and development. It help in establishing a strong business relationships between the two countries and also creates the business opportunity for the companies planning to invest. With continuous growth and Development, the state will go places”.
