PAID OFFICIAL VISIT TO CONSULAR AND
VISA CENTRE – NEW DELHI

The Ambassador H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna paid official visit to Consular & Visa Centre – New Delhi on Wednesday, 19th July 2017.
H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna paid an official visit and inspected the entire visa centre to review the development and to check the resources are being managed with maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
The Ambassador suggested innovative ideas and plans for addressing problem areas. He added that the service standards, policy, goals should be effectively and timely achieved by following with new applications and procedures. He also, met with building Management team to maintain highest possible standards for exteriors of the Visa Centre with specific attention on security, safety, fire and parking.
In this visit, The Ambassador had a meeting with Diplomats of Consular section to review the status of Visa applications and attestation documents. The report shows 27,337 visas were issued and 98,837 documents were attested in the first six months of 2017. He suggested to use innovative and advanced technology for Visa applications and attestation of the documents to streamline the process in an effective manner.
In the next meeting, The Ambassador will review the status of improvement and implementation that took place in the prevailing period.
