During the meeting, H.E. Dr Ahmed Albanna informed Mr Banerjee about the progress in the relationship between UAE and India. He mentioned, the invitations extended by both countries for various events has proved the trust and strong bonding. The active participation with high end delegation is the result of same.
Ambassador discussed about the upcoming visit of Honorable Prime Minister Narender Modi accompanied by the delegation to UAE for the world Government summit. They discussed in the length the logistics of the entire visit and the way forward.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Sixth World Government Summit, at which India is 'Guest of Honour', at Dubai next month. This will be PM Modi's second visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The state visit, from February 10-12, will also take him to Palestine and Oman, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). PM Modi will hold discussions on matters of mutual interest with the countries' leaders, and will also meet the Indian community, the Ambassador added.
He further discussed about the visit of H.E. Saif Mohamed Al Hajeri, Chairman, Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, UAE visit to New Delhi and Mumbai along with the trade delegation, comprising of 23 renowned entities both from private & public sector, from 5-8 February. The visiting delegation would be holding Ábu Dhabi week in India ‘promoting Abu Dhabi as an investment destination as well as seeking investment opportunities with their Indian counterparts.
H.E. Dr. Ahmed Albanna added with the initiatives deeply entrenched, it as a continuous process to positively impact the relation between two countries. The possibilities are endless and we dedicate our efforts to support the governments.
